To improve visibility is the air, I wanted to have flashing landing lights as well as the usual strobes. Bob Haan sells a solid state module that does the job perfectly. It includes circuitry to keep a small amount of current flowing through the bulbs even when they are off. This reduces inrush current & dramatically improves bulb life. I keep my lights flashing all the time, take-off to landing. Just need to remember to switch to constantly on when I turn finals at night!
